Camaratuba’s Bar


On the right bank of the Guaju River, at the center of the border PB/RN region, is the fishing village of Camaratuba’s Bar. At approximately 110 km from João Pessoa and 120 km from Natal/RN, this is the last district of Paraíba State, belonging to the Mataraca County.
Between two great ecological reserves, “Barra”, as the natives call, is what can be described as a tropical paradise. With a population beneath a thousand habitants, the village has aroused the interest of visitors and foreign investors the plan, with support from the municipal power, to transform Camaratuba’s Bar in an icon of the sustainable touristic and conservationist development, focusing on the ecotourism, rural tourism and adventure tourism.
