Located at the Jaraguá village, Vila Regina, in the town of Rio Tinto, the church was built on the XVII century, by request of the Indians, after finding an image of Our Lady of Prazeres. The building is an old landmark of the Monte-Mor’s Indian lands, as it represents the religious syncretism of the natives.
