To the European style, the factory’s administration built recreation areas for all workers’ categories: the factory’s staff and highlighted businessmen frequented the Tennis Club, that had soccer goers; although the top specialized workers, Brazillian, Swedish and Germans, preferred tennis, sport still little known in the region.
